How to remove a wax stain from ugg boots
This might sound like a weird question, but I have been asked this exact question like 4 times this week.
The problem with a wax stain is that it hardens quickly, and if it is hard it is realty tough to get out. There is basically 2 solutions.
Solutions 1
First try cooling it. I suggest putting your boot in the freezer. Yes I said in a freezer ( Be sure to put your boot in a bag if you don’t want your freezer to smell funny
). Leave it in there for a couple of hours or even through the night. This will harden the wax. The next morning try and peel it of slowly but don’t force it, if it still won’t budge try to brush it with a brush. If this doesn’t work try solution 2.
Solutions 2
Now we will try to heat it. If you haven’t tried solution 1 I suggest you try it first. You are going to need a hairdryer and some paper towels. Now heat the wax and as it melts absorb it with the paper towel. Be careful to not let the wax spread further! In some cases the hairdryer won’t melt the wax. In these cases you are going to have to use an iron. (Remember to be careful with the iron as it is easy to burn your self ) It is best to get someone to help you with this as one person has to iron and the other has to make sure that all the wax is absorbed and doesn’t spread. Get an old towel and put it over the wax, now with the iron on low heat slowly move it across the stain while making sure the towel absorbs the melted wax. Again please be careful as this can be very dangerous.

The best way to get wax off any furnishing or fabric is to iron over the area putting brown paper between the wax and the iron. The brown paper absorbs the wax leavig no marks or bits on your fabric
Nice tip thanks Emma
